Hosting and server logs
This website is hosted on a united-domains GmbH Webspace package. For this package, united-domains uses IONOS SE as its technical provider; according to united-domains, the Webspace data is held on servers in Germany. We have a data-processing agreement with united-domains.
When you visit the website, your IP address is transmitted to the web server so that it can deliver the page. The host may record access data such as the requested file, time, browser information and IP address in server logs. Our review found that server log files accessible for our Webspace instance are retained for up to eight calendar weeks. IONOS processes technical access data including the requested file, browser, operating system, device type and time. According to IONOS, it anonymises the IP address on collection and keeps this data for eight weeks for security and stability. The legal basis for the necessary provision and security of this website is Article 6(1)(f) GDPR; our legitimate interest is a functioning, secure website.
Cookies and statistical analysis
Our own website code does not set analytics or marketing cookies; fonts and images are served from our own web server. According to united-domains, IONOS uses technically necessary cookies as standard in the Webspace package. IONOS WebAnalytics also collects technical usage data through server logs or a pixel by default. According to IONOS, this does not use cookies and the IP address is anonymised immediately. The analysis serves statistical and technical purposes. We do not run our own marketing or user-profile analysis.
The JOIN jobs widget is not loaded merely by opening the careers page. External links only connect to their destinations when clicked. The next section describes the widget.
Job listings from JOIN
On the careers page, you can display job listings provided by JOIN Solutions AG. The widget is loaded only when you click “Load positions”. Your browser then connects to JOIN and transmits technical data including your IP address, time, browser information and the page visited. JOIN may process further data and, depending on its technical implementation, use cookies or similar storage technology. You can use the rest of this website without activating the widget.
The external widget is loaded on the basis of your consent (Article 6(1)(a) GDPR and, where storage or access to information on your device is involved, section 25(1) TDDDG). We do not store this decision: after reloading the page, the widget is displayed only after another click. Data already transmitted to JOIN cannot be recalled by doing so. If JOIN sets cookies, you can delete them through your browser settings.
If you apply through a JOIN job listing, the data and documents you enter there are transmitted to BIQX and processed for recruitment. According to JOIN, it acts as the advertising company's processor in this context. For more information, see JOIN's privacy policy. You may also apply directly by email to BIQX.
Contact by email or telephone
There is no contact form on this website. If you contact us by email or telephone, we process your contact details, message and information needed to handle it. For enquiries about a potential or existing business relationship, the legal basis is Article 6(1)(b) GDPR; for other enquiries, Article 6(1)(f) GDPR. Our interest is responding to your enquiry.
We delete the information once the enquiry is concluded unless statutory retention duties or legitimate reasons require longer storage. Without the contact details needed for a reply, we cannot respond.
Applications by email and JOIN
If you apply via jobs@biqx.de, we process your name, contact details, application documents and voluntary information such as the position sought, possible start date and salary expectation. This is for the recruitment process. The legal basis is Article 6(1)(b) GDPR in conjunction with section 26 BDSG where applicable.
Within BIQX, only people involved in the application have access. Where placement with a client is considered, the necessary application information may be shared with that client. Our email service provider also processes the data.
After a rejection, we generally delete application data three months after the recruitment process ends, regardless of how you applied. We retain it longer only where legal duties, necessary legal defence or your express consent justify this. If you are hired, the data needed for employment is transferred to HR administration.
Recipients and possible transfers abroad
We use united-domains GmbH and its technical Webspace provider IONOS SE for hosting. JOIN is involved when you activate the jobs widget or apply through it. Emails to our contact and application addresses are processed through Microsoft 365. Within BIQX, only the responsible people have access; in the placement case described above, application data may be passed to the relevant client.
Microsoft 365 processing or access may in some circumstances take place outside the EU or EEA. Any such transfer is governed by the applicable service privacy terms and necessary safeguards, in particular EU standard contractual clauses. You may ask about the safeguards at datenschutz@biqx.de.
Your rights
Subject to the applicable legal requirements, you may request access to, correction or deletion of your data, restriction of processing and data portability. You may object to processing under Article 6(1)(f) GDPR on grounds relating to your particular situation. You may withdraw consent at any time with effect for the future.
Contact datenschutz@biqx.de. You also have the right to lodge a complaint with a data-protection authority. The competent authority for BIQX in Lower Saxony is the Lower Saxony Data Protection Commissioner, Prinzenstraße 5, 30159 Hannover, Germany.
